Responsibility
- Prepare and manage detailed cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects from inception to completion.
- Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide cost-control recommendations to senior management.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to align design specifications with budget constraints.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure.
- Prepare and submit progress claims, final accounts, and valuation reports in accordance with industry standards.
- Stay updated on local regulations, market trends, and construction methodologies to ensure competitive and compliant practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. RICS or AIQS accreditation is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a proven track record in large-scale construction projects (preferably in Southeast Asia).
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or Primavera) and MS Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of contract law, FIDIC conditions, and local construction regulations in Indonesia.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali or commute to project sites as required.
