Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects
- Manage and monitor project costs throughout the construction lifecycle to ensure financial control
- Prepare and administer contracts, including tender documents, contracts, and subcontracts
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and verify quantities of materials used
- Negotiate with suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to secure favorable terms and pricing
- Prepare and submit progress claims and final accounts in accordance with contract terms
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure project success
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to construction projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, MQSI) is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building regulations
- Proficient in cost estimating software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, or similar)
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with keen attention to detail
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with international construction projects is a plus
