Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects in Bali.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and monitor progress.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure favorable terms.
- Track and report on project expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial plans and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to align financial planning with technical specifications.
- Resolve disputes and claims related to project costs, variations, or delays.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for audits and compliance.
- Provide risk assessment and mitigation strategies for cost-related project risks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably with international projects.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and standards in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is advantageous.
