Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project requirements and progress.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to financial plans.
- Provide accurate financial reporting and forecasting to senior management.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to align on project goals.
- Resolve disputes and claims related to project costs and variations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in residential or commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, Candy) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction standards and practices is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate or travel to project sites in Bali as needed.
