Responsibility
- Conduct accurate quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
- Manage tender processes, including bid evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.
- Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency and financial compliance.
- Prepare and assess variation orders, change requests, and cost adjustments.
- Oversee subcontractor management, including agreements, payments, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and maintain cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and financial tracking for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to align cost plans with design and execution.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in construction or real estate development.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and market practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
