Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
- Conduct feasibility studies and provide financial insights to support project planning and decision-making.
- Monitor and control project expenditures, including material costs, labor, and subcontractor payments, to ensure adherence to budget.
- Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to clarify project requirements and resolve cost-related disputes.
- Prepare monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and final accounts with meticulous attention to detail.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, contract terms, and industry standards in all financial and contractual matters.
- Provide risk assessment and mitigation strategies related to project costs and financial exposure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. RICS or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration (FIDIC, JCT, or similar).
- Strong proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or Primavera) and Microsoft Excel (advanced level).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly.
- Familiarity with Bali/Indonesia construction regulations and market rates is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus.
