Responsibility
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct material takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings using industry-standard software.
- Support senior quantity surveyors in contract administration, including variations, claims, and final accounts.
- Participate in site visits to verify progress, measure work completed, and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with project teams to track budgets, forecast costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assist in procurement processes, including supplier inquiries, comparisons, and purchase order preparation.
- Prepare weekly/monthly reports on project expenditures, cash flow, and financial performance.
- Learn and apply local construction regulations, standards, and best practices in Indonesia.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Basic knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation principles.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or quantity surveying software (e.g., WinQS, CostX) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced construction environment.
