Responsibility
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to support project planning and decision-making.
- Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and implement cost-control measures to prevent budget overruns.
- Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure favorable terms and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to optimize resource allocation and improve project efficiency.
- Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BOQ), and valuation reports for client submissions.
- Assess and mitigate financial risks while ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
- Provide monthly financial progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, preferably in large-scale projects.
- Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or Primavera) and MS Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement methods, and tendering processes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills with the ability to liaise with multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with Indonesian construction regulations and standards is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to dynamic project environments.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian (written and verbal) is required.
