Responsibility
- Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and readiness of all heavy machinery, including Asphalt Mixing Plants (AMP), Batching Plants, and construction armadas, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement strategic plans for equipment procurement, utilization, and lifecycle management to support project timelines and budgetary goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians, operators, and logistics personnel, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to align equipment availability with project schedules, ensuring seamless execution of construction and infrastructure projects.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics, conduct regular audits, and implement corrective actions to enhance reliability, reduce costs, and extend machinery lifespan.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international safety and environmental regulations, maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for equipment repairs, spare parts procurement, and third-party inspections to maintain operational continuity.
- Prepare and present regular reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and operational challenges to senior management, providing actionable insights for decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in equipment management are a plus.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in equipment management, heavy machinery operations, or a related role, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Proven expertise in managing Asphalt Mixing Plants (AMP), Batching Plants, and construction armadas, with a deep understanding of their operational and maintenance requirements.
- Strong technical knowledge of heavy machinery, including hydraulic systems, electrical components, and mechanical diagnostics.
- Experience working in the construction, infrastructure, or mining industries, with a track record of supporting large-scale projects in dynamic environments.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations governing equipment operations in Indonesia, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Proficiency in using equipment management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is required; additional languages are a plus.
