Now expanding our operations to Bali, Indonesia, we are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to drive financial efficiency and accuracy in our dynamic projects.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in cost estimation, contract administration, and financial reporting for residential, commercial, and infrastructure developments. Your expertise will ensure projects stay on budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance. Based in Denpasar, Bali, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver data-driven cost solutions that align with project goals. Whether you’re analyzing tender documents, negotiating with contractors, or conducting feasibility studies, your work will directly impact the success of landmark developments in Bali’s booming real estate and tourism sectors.
Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and overheads.
- Conduct tender evaluations and recommend the most cost-effective bids while ensuring quality standards.
- Administer contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms to mitigate financial risks.
- Monitor project expenditures and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Perform feasibility studies and value engineering to optimize project budgets.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure alignment on cost control measures.
- Resolve cost disputes and claims through expert analysis and negotiation.
- Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and regulatory changes affecting construction in Bali.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Proven track record in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of construction laws, standards, and best practices in Indonesia.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional membership (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
