Responsibility
- Lead and manage all quantity surveying activities for commercial projects, ensuring accurate cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control.
- Prepare and analyze tender documents, contracts, and procurement strategies to optimize project outcomes.
- Conduct regular cost reviews and value engineering exercises to identify savings and efficiencies without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Monitor and report on project financial performance, including forecasting, cash flow management, and risk assessment.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters, claims, and disputes to mitigate risks and protect the company's interests.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing commercial projects, with a strong understanding of cost control and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong knowledge of local construction regulations, contract law, and industry best practices in Indonesia.
- Certification from a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS, AIQS, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
