Responsibility
- Lead and oversee all BIM activities throughout the project lifecycle, from design to commissioning.
- Develop and implement BIM execution plans (BEP) tailored to data centre projects.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure BIM models align with project requirements.
- Conduct clash detection and resolution to minimize on-site conflicts and delays.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and client-specific BIM protocols.
- Train and mentor team members on BIM software and best practices.
- Generate and review BIM deliverables, including 3D models, drawings, and reports.
- Optimize BIM workflows to enhance project efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management, with a focus on data centre projects.
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong understanding of data centre design and construction processes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams.
- Certification in BIM (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) is a plus.
- Experience with clash detection, coordination, and model federation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
