Responsibility
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies and procedures in accordance with local and international standards.
- Lead safety training sessions and workshops for employees to promote awareness and best practices.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.
- Ensure all safety equipment is properly maintained and readily available for use.
- Stay updated with the latest safety regulations and industry trends to continuously improve safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- Certification as a Safety & Health Officer (Green Book holder preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in safety management within the construction industry.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage with staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.
