Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects.
- Manage contract administration, including tendering, procurement, and subcontractor agreements.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, assess variations, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Negotiate and resolve contractual disputes, claims, and variations with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to optimize project costs and ensure financial viability.
- Prepare and submit progress claims, final accounts, and financial statements in accordance with project timelines.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on schedule.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Quantity Surveyors and support staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in building construction, preferably with main contractors.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, AIQS) is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and cost management principles.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
