Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects in Bali.
- Conduct tender evaluations and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to secure optimal pricing.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with contractual obligations and financial targets.
- Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural and engineering drawings using industry-standard software.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with project managers to track progress, forecast costs, and adjust budgets as needed.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to local regulations, safety standards, and sustainability practices in all financial planning.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in international or large-scale construction projects.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software (e.g., WinQS, Candy, or PlanSwift) and MS Excel (advanced level).
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement processes, and tendering procedures.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Familiarity with Baliās construction market, local suppliers, and regulatory requirements is a plus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Certification from a recognized body (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is highly advantageous.
