Responsibility
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and overheads to support project budgeting and feasibility studies.
- Develop and submit competitive tender documents, including pricing proposals, bills of quantities, and contract terms.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to solicit, evaluate, and compare quotations for optimal procurement.
- Monitor project expenditures, track cost variations, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide financial forecasts to mitigate potential budget overruns.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment between design, scope, and budget.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and present financial insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all financial documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in large-scale construction projects.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or similar) and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, tendering processes, and procurement strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction market and local regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is highly advantageous.
