Responsibility
- Lead and oversee HDB BTO construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and milestone tracking.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and government agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor cost control and financial performance, providing regular reports to senior management.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance in accordance with Singapore’s construction laws (e.g., BCA, WSH).
- Resolve on-site challenges proactively, mitigating delays and cost overruns.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including HDB, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Drive sustainability initiatives and innovative construction methods to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project management for high-rise residential or public housing projects (HDB BTO experience highly preferred).
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore’s construction regulations, including BCA standards and WSH requirements.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and BIM tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills to manage cross-functional teams.
- Certifications such as PMP, RSP, or BCSS are advantageous.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to evolving project demands in a dynamic environment.
