Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs for construction sites
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and implement corrective actions
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels, including toolbox talks and safety orientations
- Ensure compliance with Indonesian OSH regulations (Permenaker No. 5/2018) and international safety standards
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to integrate safety measures into daily operations
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and documentation for regulatory compliance
- Promote a strong safety culture through continuous communication and engagement with all employees
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and recommend improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry
- Certification in OSH (e.g., SMK3, NEBOSH, OSHA) is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian safety regulations (Permenaker No. 5/2018) and international safety standards
- Proven experience in developing and implementing safety programs and training
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Ability to conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment
