Responsibility
- Operate heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, bulldozers, loaders, cranes) in compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to execute tasks efficiently.
- Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
- Adhere to all site safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
- Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance on assigned equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in construction or related industries.
- Valid certification or license for operating heavy machinery (e.g., excavator, bulldozer, loader).
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices for heavy equipment operation.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in outdoor conditions, including heat and humidity.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and instructions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues.
- Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
