Responsibility
- Conduct detailed cost estimates and prepare budgets for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Manage procurement processes, including tendering, supplier negotiations, and contract awards to secure cost-effective materials and services.
- Monitor project expenditures and track financial performance against budgets, providing regular reports to stakeholders.
- Administer contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with terms, conditions, and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Perform risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to resolve disputes and ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local construction regulations, market trends, and material costs in Bali.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., RICS, AIQS) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on large-scale construction projects.
- Proven expertise in cost estimation software (e.g., Candy, WinQS, or Primavera) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and tendering processes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction market and local regulations is highly desirable.
