Are you a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with expertise in acoustic panels and interior fit-out projects? Minus Noise, a leader in innovative sound solutions, is expanding its operations in Bali and seeking a skilled professional to join our dynamic team.
This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end quantity surveying for high-end commercial and residential projects, from initial cost estimation to final account settlements. You’ll work closely with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure budget accuracy, cost efficiency, and contractual compliance while delivering premium acoustic and interior solutions.

Responsibility
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and tender documents for acoustic panel and interior fit-out projects.
- Conduct market research to source materials, labor costs, and subcontractor quotes for competitive pricing.
- Manage cost control and budget tracking throughout project lifecycles, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions.
- Review and negotiate contract terms, variations, and claims to ensure fair and profitable outcomes for the company.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to align designs with budget constraints and value engineering principles.
- Perform final account settlements and prepare financial reports for stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies in all cost-related activities.
- Provide expert advice on cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or acoustic performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferably with RICS or equivalent certification).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on interior fit-out, acoustic treatments, or construction.
- Proven track record in cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for commercial or residential projects.
- Strong proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, or PlanSwift) and Microsoft Excel for financial modeling.
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with acoustic materials, installation techniques, and industry suppliers is a plus.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
