Responsibility
- Lead and manage all pre-contract and post-contract cost management activities.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budget forecasts, and tender documentation for large-scale construction projects.
- Manage sub-contractor procurement, including tender analysis, negotiations, and final account settlements.
- Perform regular site visits to monitor progress, verify claims, and ensure cost variations are properly documented.
- Implement proactive cost-control measures to optimize project profitability and minimize wastage.
- Liaise effectively with architects, engineers, clients, and internal stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.
- Provide expert contractual advice and risk management strategies to project management teams.
Qualifications
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the Singapore construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of SIA/PSSCOC conditions of contract and relevant construction regulations.
- Proven ability to manage tight project schedules and handle high-pressure environments.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Resourceful problem-solver with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
