In this role, you will drive continuous improvement programs, ensure compliance with international quality standards (ISO, ASME, etc.), and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize power generation efficiency. Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001, ASME, and industry-specific standards.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures, non-conformances, and process deviations, proposing corrective/preventive actions.
- Conduct audits and inspections of power plant components, systems, and procedures to ensure adherence to technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to optimize plant performance, reduce unplanned outages, and extend asset lifespan.
- Oversee vendor and contractor quality assurance, including material inspections, testing protocols, and supplier evaluations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) to enhance efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Prepare and present quality reports, KPIs, and dashboards to senior management, highlighting trends and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure strict compliance with HSE (Health, Safety, Environment) policies and promote a culture of safety across all operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in quality engineering within power generation, oil & gas, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Proven expertise in Combined Cycle Power Plants (CCPP), gas turbines, or steam turbines is highly advantageous.
- Certifications in Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or ASQ CQE are a plus.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, SPC, 8D, 5 Whys) and regulatory standards (API, ASME, IEC).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is beneficial.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali, Indonesia and work in a fast-paced, high-responsibility environment.
