Responsibility
- Develop and implement quality control protocols for raw material inspection and vendor evaluation.
- Conduct thorough audits of suppliers to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and analyze raw material quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with procurement and production teams to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance processes, test results, and corrective actions.
- Train and mentor junior QA staff on best practices in raw material inspection and testing.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and advancements in quality assurance methodologies.
- Participate in cross-functional projects to enhance overall product quality and safety.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food or beverage industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, GMP).
- Proven experience in supplier audits and raw material testing.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in quality management software and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Certification in quality assurance (e.g., CQA, CQE) is a plus.
