Responsibility
- Operate and maintain production machinery for foam and form manufacturing, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Conduct detailed chemical analysis and calculations to optimize foam production processes, including density, viscosity, and curing parameters.
- Develop and refine foam formulations to meet specific performance, cost, and sustainability targets.
- Collaborate with R&D and production teams to troubleshoot process inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and control production quality through regular testing and data analysis, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation, including SOPs, batch records, and process validation reports.
- Train and mentor junior staff on production techniques, safety procedures, and quality control measures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in chemical manufacturing and foam production.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in chemical manufacturing, foam production, or a related industry.
- Proven expertise in operating and troubleshooting production machinery, with a strong understanding of chemical processes and formulations.
- Hands-on experience with analytical techniques, including spectroscopy, chromatography, and rheology testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data to drive process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001) and regulatory compliance in chemical manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using laboratory software and production management tools (e.g., ERP systems, LIMS).
