Responsibility
- Lead and manage the R&D team to develop innovative food products and improve existing ones.
- Oversee the implementation of food safety and quality standards in all R&D processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and market readiness.
- Conduct research on emerging food technologies, ingredients, and industry trends to drive innovation.
- Develop and maintain documentation for R&D processes, including formulas, procedures, and test results.
- Ensure compliance with local and international food regulations and standards.
- Mentor and train junior R&D staff to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Present R&D findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food R&D, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, FDA).
- Proven track record of successful product development and innovation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in using R&D software and tools for data analysis and documentation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the food industry in Indonesia or Southeast Asia is a plus.
