As a Junior Chemist, you will play a key role in performing ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy) analyses, sample preparation, and quality control testing. Responsibility
- Conduct ICP-OES analyses to determine elemental composition in various samples with precision and accuracy.
- Prepare and process laboratory samples according to standardized procedures and safety protocols.
- Perform routine quality control tests to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
- Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments to ensure optimal performance.
- Document and analyze test results, preparing detailed reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior chemists and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
- Adhere to GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) and ISO standards in all laboratory activities.
- Assist in the development and validation of new analytical methods as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably with exposure to ICP-OES or similar analytical techniques.
- Strong understanding of laboratory safety protocols and chemical handling procedures.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and software for data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with GLP, ISO 17025, or other quality management systems is a plus.
