Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive QA/QC policies, procedures, and work instructions in alignment with ISO, ASTM, and local construction standards.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and tests on materials, workmanship, and construction processes to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and review QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans (CAPAs).
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues and mitigate risks proactively.
- Lead pre-construction, in-process, and final inspections for critical project phases, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Train and mentor junior QA/QC staff and site personnel on best practices, quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with third-party inspection agencies and certification bodies to facilitate project approvals and certifications.
- Utilize advanced QA/QC software and tools to track, analyze, and report on quality metrics and performance indicators.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior QA/QC Engineer in A1 main construction companies, with a focus on high-rise buildings, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of international construction standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, BS) and local Indonesian regulations (e.g., SNI).
- Proven experience with QA/QC documentation, inspection tools, and testing methodologies (e.g., concrete testing, weld inspections, NDT).
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage teams and liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Certifications such as CQI (Chartered Quality Institute), IRCA Lead Auditor, or PMP are highly advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and QA/QC software (e.g., Primavera, Procore, or similar).
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
