In this role, you will oversee the inspection, testing, and validation of electrical systems for solar, wind, and other renewable energy installations. Your expertise will drive project excellence, from design review to final commissioning, ensuring all work adheres to international standards (IEC, IEEE, NEC) and local regulations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, designers, and field technicians, to deliver safe, efficient, and high-performance electrical systems.

Responsibility
- Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and checklists for electrical systems in renewable energy projects.
- Conduct detailed inspections and testing of electrical installations, including wiring, panels, transformers, and control systems, to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
- Review and approve electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation for accuracy and adherence to codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC, SNI).
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning tests (e.g., insulation resistance, continuity, polarity, load testing) and generate comprehensive reports.
- Identify and resolve non-conformities through root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of high-quality electrical systems.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of renewable energy technologies (solar PV, wind, battery storage) and emerging industry standards.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on QA/QC best practices and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA/QC for electrical systems, with at least 2 years in renewable energy projects.
- In-depth knowledge of international electrical codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC) and Indonesian regulations (PLN, SNI).
- Proven experience with testing equipment (megger, multimeter, oscilloscope, thermal imaging cameras) and commissioning protocols.
- Strong technical writing and reporting skills for documentation, including test reports and non-conformance logs.
- Familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD, ETAP) and project management tools (Primavera, MS Project).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to travel to project sites across Bali and Indonesia as needed.
