Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OSHA, local regulations, and company standards.
- Perform risk assessments and job safety analyses (JSAs) to proactively eliminate or control workplace risks.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, compile detailed reports, and propose preventive measures.
- Organize and deliver safety training programs for employees, including emergency response drills and equipment handling.
- Ensure proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) usage and maintain inventory of safety supplies.
- Collaborate with management to integrate safety best practices into daily operations and long-term strategic planning.
- Maintain accurate safety records, documentation, and compliance reports for audits and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Safety Officer or similar role, preferably in industrial, construction, or manufacturing sectors.
- Certification in OSHA, NEBOSH, or IOSH is a strong advantage.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations (e.g., Indonesian K3, ISO 45001).
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills to engage employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, safety management software, and reporting tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach to hazard prevention.
