Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and predictive maintenance strategies to enhance reliability.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation systems to resolve issues efficiently and reduce production disruptions.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance metrics, identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Manage spare parts inventory and vendor relationships to ensure timely availability of critical components.
- Prepare and present reports on maintenance activities, budget adherence, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance supervision within the food manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies, including CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a diverse technical team.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs, HVAC systems, packaging machinery, and production line automation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
- Familiarity with safety protocols (OSHA, ISO, HACCP) and quality management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams.
