Responsibility
- Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI) to validate new products and processes against engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Manage and resolve quality claims by investigating non-conformances, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
- Lead and coordinate internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO, IATF, and customer-specific requirements.
- Develop and update quality control standards, procedures, and documentation to align with evolving industry best practices.
- Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot quality issues, optimize processes, and reduce scrap and rework.
- Supervise and mentor a team of QA technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Coordinate cross-functional meetings with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to align on quality objectives and action plans.
- Analyze quality data and trends to propose and implement preventive measures that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/Quality Control within the electronics manufacturing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and industry standards.
- Proven expertise in root cause analysis tools (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram) and problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising QA teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in FAI processes, audit techniques, and statistical process control (SPC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles is a plus.
