Responsibility
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for backend systems using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or JMeter).
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to identify test requirements and define automation strategies.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests, ensuring rapid and reliable software releases.
- Conduct performance, load, and stress testing to validate system scalability and robustness.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with teams to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.
- Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in automation and quality assurance.
- Stay updated with emerging QA tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance testing efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in QA Automation, with a focus on backend testing.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, RestAssured).
- Strong knowledge of API testing, database testing, and performance testing tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and version control systems (Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with strong communication and collaboration skills.
