Responsibility
- Lead the sourcing, negotiation, and procurement of meat, poultry, and fresh produce from approved suppliers.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and reliability.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, evaluate trends, and assess cost-saving opportunities.
- Manage contract negotiations, including terms, pricing, and delivery schedules to optimize value.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements for all procured goods.
- Analyze spending patterns and prepare reports to support data-driven purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to streamline inbound supply chain processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, with a focus on perishable goods (meat/produce).
- Proven ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO, GMP) and local/international regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel or procurement software.
- Fluent in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Experience in retail or FMCG sectors is highly preferred.
