Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to secure high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to maximize cost savings while maintaining quality and service standards.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify cost-reduction opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Resolve supplier-related issues, including delivery delays, quality concerns, and contractual disputes.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities, budget adherence, and supplier performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven decision-making and procurement software/tools.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and incoterms is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
