GENIUS COOLING TOWERS GLOBAL is seeking a Senior Purchasing Executive to lead our strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives in Bali. This role is pivotal in optimizing our supply chain, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring cost-effective, high-quality material acquisitions to support our manufacturing and operational excellence.
As a key member of our team, you will drive supplier relationships, conduct market research, and implement procurement strategies that align with our business goals. Your expertise will directly impact our bottom line by securing the best terms, prices, and delivery schedules for critical materials and services.
Based in the dynamic region of Badung, Bali, this position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment while contributing to innovative projects in the manufacturing and logistics sectors.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans to identify and engage with new suppliers and vendors for materials, goods, and services.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and favorable conditions for the company.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and supplier capabilities.
- Manage supplier relationships, evaluate performance, and resolve any issues to maintain a reliable supply chain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
- Implement and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance to senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Proven track record of negotiating contracts and achieving cost savings through strategic sourcing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate supplier proposals and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
- Familiarity with international trade regulations, logistics, and customs procedures is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
