Responsibility
- Manage and nurture relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure reliable and cost-effective procurement.
- Lead and supervise the purchasing team, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
