Responsibility
- Lead the development of cost estimation models for new automotive projects, ensuring accuracy and alignment with market standards.
- Prepare and present competitive quotations to clients, balancing profitability with customer expectations.
- Conduct feasibility studies for potential projects, assessing risks, costs, and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to optimize material and labor costs.
- Monitor and analyze cost variances, implementing corrective actions to maintain budget adherence.
- Develop and maintain a cost database for benchmarking and historical reference.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on pricing strategies and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all costing activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or Business Administration; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing sector.
- Proven expertise in cost modeling, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems, Excel, and costing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
