Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to meet production demands while minimizing costs.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
- Manage purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, addressing quality, delivery, and cost-related issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., production, logistics, finance) to align procurement with business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, materials, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain inventory control and forecast demand to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical sourcing standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in semiconductor or manufacturing.
- Proven track record in vendor negotiation, cost reduction, and contract management.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement software.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and just-in-time (JIT) inventory.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
