Responsibility
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to support company objectives and growth initiatives.
- Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and vendor relationship building to secure favorable terms and pricing.
- Optimize procurement processes to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance supply chain performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and operations, to align procurement activities with business needs.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and innovation.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to support production and operational requirements.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement metrics, cost analysis, and supplier performance to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical procurement practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience working in the manufacturing, logistics, or related industry is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
