Based in the heart of Bali’s tech and development hubs—Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung—you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver competitive, technically precise proposals that win high-value contracts. Your expertise in BMS, ACMV (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation), and automation solutions will drive efficiency, sustainability, and innovation in critical infrastructure projects.
With a salary range of $4,000–$6,000 USD per month, this position rewards your ability to balance technical accuracy with commercial acumen. Responsibility
- Develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for BMS, automation, and ACMV projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct detailed cost estimations, including material, labor, and overhead calculations, to ensure competitive yet profitable bidding.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and project management teams to refine scope, timelines, and deliverables for tender submissions.
- Prepare and present quotations, RFP/RFQ responses, and contract negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Stay updated on emerging BMS technologies, automation trends, and regulatory compliance (e.g., green building certifications) to enhance proposal competitiveness.
- Manage tender documentation, including technical drawings, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and compliance matrices.
- Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to position proposals strategically for data center, hospital, and commercial projects.
- Provide post-tender support, including clarification meetings, contract finalization, and handover to project execution teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering (or related field); advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in proposal/tender engineering, with a focus on BMS, HVAC, or building automation systems.
- Proven track record of winning tenders for large-scale projects (data centers, hospitals, or commercial buildings preferred).
- Strong proficiency in cost estimation tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and BMS software (e.g., Siemens Desigo, Honeywell EBI, Schneider EcoStruxure).
- Excellent technical writing and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with local and international standards (e.g., ISO, ASHRAE, NFPA) and green building certifications (e.g., Green Mark, LEED).
- Strong negotiation and client management skills, with experience in high-stakes commercial discussions.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (or already based in the target regions) with flexibility for occasional travel to project sites.
