As a key member of our engineering team, you will oversee the maintenance, repair, and optimization of production equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibility
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on glove manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules, checklists, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
- Monitor equipment performance metrics and recommend upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with vendors for procurement and repairs.
- Train and mentor junior technicians and operators on best practices for equipment care and operation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent technical certification.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in glove manufacturing, rubber processing, or similar industries.
- Strong knowledge of PLC systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial machinery.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to maintenance and process improvement.
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
- Ability to work in shift-based environments and respond to emergency maintenance requests.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
