As a key player in our team, you will oversee the full project lifecycle—from initial client inquiries and strategic planning to flawless on-site execution and post-event analysis. Your expertise in logistics coordination, stakeholder management, and process optimization will ensure seamless operations for large-scale events, exhibitions, and corporate initiatives across Bali’s premier business and tourism destinations.
Based in the vibrant regions of Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, or surrounding areas, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions while maintaining DSV’s reputation for reliability and precision. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for problem-solving and a track record in complex project management.
Responsibility
- End-to-End Project Leadership: Manage the full lifecycle of event logistics projects, from client inquiries and scope definition to final reporting and post-event evaluation.
- Strategic Planning & Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with clients, vendors, internal teams, and local authorities to align expectations and resolve operational challenges.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project finances, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize expenditures without compromising quality.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure adherence to local and international logistics regulations, maintaining accurate records for audits and reporting.
- Team Mentorship: Guide junior staff and contractors, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Innovation & Process Improvement: Propose and implement best practices to enhance efficiency in event logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years in project management, event logistics, or supply chain operations, preferably in a global logistics environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of transport, manufacturing, or event logistics sectors, with familiarity in Bali’s business landscape.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage high-pressure situations with diplomacy.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Communication Excellence: Fluent English (written and verbal) with exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.
- Adaptability: Willingness to travel within Bali and occasionally internationally to support project needs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
