Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate material requirements planning (MRP) to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely production.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Suppliers to secure raw materials, packaging, and other essentials in alignment with production schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels, track material usage, and forecast demand to prevent shortages or excess stock.
- Work closely with Production and Logistics teams to coordinate material flow, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyze production data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Prepare and present reports on material planning performance, inventory turnover, and supply chain metrics to management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to material handling and storage.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for automation, waste reduction, and lean manufacturing practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or supply chain roles within the manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in MRP/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus, with knowledge of GMP, HACCP, or other food safety standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
