Responsibility
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely to move, store, and retrieve inventory.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, adhering to packaging standards and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular cycle counts.
- Organize and label storage areas to optimize space utilization and ensure easy retrieval of materials.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and shipping teams to coordinate material flow and resolve discrepancies.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and PPE usage, to prevent workplace injuries.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, and perform basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material handling.
- Proven ability to operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in WMS or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 kg and perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate across departments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in logistics or supply chain are a plus.
