Responsibility
- Conduct regular warehouse audits to verify inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and digital records.
- Assist in cycle counting and stocktaking activities to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to identify and report damaged, expired, or misplaced inventory items.
- Prepare detailed audit reports, highlighting findings, trends, and recommendations for process improvements.
- Support logistics teams in tracking inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other digital tools to record audit data and generate reports.
- Assist in implementing corrective actions for inventory discrepancies and monitor their effectiveness.
- Adhere to health, safety, and security protocols while performing audit duties in the warehouse.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics, supply chain, or inventory management is a plus.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or auditing (prior seasonal or contract roles are advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data recording and reporting.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift light to moderate weights (up to 15 kg) during audit activities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as required by business needs.
