Tanglin Trust School Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager for a contract term to oversee upcoming capital development and infrastructure projects on our vibrant campus. Located in the West Region of Singapore, Tanglin Trust School offers a unique, fast-paced environment where educational excellence meets state-of-the-art facilities.

In this critical role, you will lead construction and renovation initiatives from design development through to hand-over, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned construction professional to shape the physical environment of one of Singapore's premier international schools.

We are looking for a proactive leader who thrives on stakeholder management, possesses deep technical expertise in Singapore's construction landscape, and can navigate complex institutional build constraints seamlessly.

Responsibility

  • Lead and manage the execution of campus construction, renovation, and capital upgrade projects from concept to completion.
  • Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, academic departments, external architects, consultants, and main contractors.
  • Establish and manage project budgets, procurement strategies, and financial forecasts, ensuring strict cost-control measures.
  • Develop detailed project timelines, monitor progress, and proactively resolve any scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks.
  • Ensure all site works comply strictly with Singapore’s building control regulations, environmental health, and workplace safety standards (BCA, SCDF, NEA).
  • Manage the contract administration process, including vetting variations, evaluations, and progress payment certifications.
  • Prepare comprehensive progress reports, risk assessment matrices, and deliver executive updates to the School's leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related built-environment discipline.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of project management experience, preferably with a track record of handling institutional, commercial, or campus developments in Singapore.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of local construction practices, regulations, and BCA standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong problem-solving capability and the agility to adapt to changing project demands.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification is highly advantageous.
