Tanglin Trust School Ltd is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager for a contract term to oversee upcoming capital development and infrastructure projects on our vibrant campus. In this critical role, you will lead construction and renovation initiatives from design development through to hand-over, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. We are looking for a proactive leader who thrives on stakeholder management, possesses deep technical expertise in Singapore's construction landscape, and can navigate complex institutional build constraints seamlessly.
Responsibility
- Lead and manage the execution of campus construction, renovation, and capital upgrade projects from concept to completion.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders, academic departments, external architects, consultants, and main contractors.
- Establish and manage project budgets, procurement strategies, and financial forecasts, ensuring strict cost-control measures.
- Develop detailed project timelines, monitor progress, and proactively resolve any scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks.
- Ensure all site works comply strictly with Singapore’s building control regulations, environmental health, and workplace safety standards (BCA, SCDF, NEA).
- Manage the contract administration process, including vetting variations, evaluations, and progress payment certifications.
- Prepare comprehensive progress reports, risk assessment matrices, and deliver executive updates to the School's leadership team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related built-environment discipline.
- Minimum 8–10 years of project management experience, preferably with a track record of handling institutional, commercial, or campus developments in Singapore.
- Demonstrated knowledge of local construction practices, regulations, and BCA standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse stakeholder groups.
- Strong problem-solving capability and the agility to adapt to changing project demands.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent project management certification is highly advantageous.
