Responsibility
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for construction projects.
- Conduct material takeoffs and quantify construction materials, labor, and equipment costs.
- Monitor project expenditures and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and clients to negotiate contracts and resolve cost-related disputes.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and financial forecasts for management review.
- Assist in value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, building codes, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess risks and propose cost-saving measures.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in construction or cost estimation is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).
- Mandarin language proficiency is required for stakeholder communication.
