Responsibility
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems for commercial, industrial, or residential projects.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to maintain project quality and safety standards.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documents in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve M&E-related issues, providing innovative and cost-effective solutions.
- Ensure adherence to AWS (Annual Wage Supplement) and VB (Variable Bonus) performance metrics and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, civil engineers, and project managers, to integrate M&E systems seamlessly.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, risk assessments, and post-implementation reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in M&E project engineering, with a proven track record in managing large-scale projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software for system design and modeling.
- Strong knowledge of local and international M&E codes, standards, and best practices (e.g., NEC, IEC, ASHRAE).
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk assessment.
- Familiarity with AWS and Variable Bonus (VB) structures in a corporate or industrial setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work a 6-day work week and travel to project sites as required.
