Responsibility
- Lead and manage all phases of the bridge construction project, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement project plans, timelines, and budgets, while monitoring progress and mitigating risks to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and subcontractors to optimize design, materials, and construction methods for efficiency and durability.
- Conduct regular site inspections to enforce quality control, safety protocols, and compliance with local and international engineering standards.
- Prepare and present progress reports, technical documentation, and stakeholder updates to senior management and clients.
- Liaise with government agencies, local authorities, and community representatives to secure permits, address concerns, and foster positive relationships.
- Identify and resolve engineering challenges proactively, leveraging innovative solutions to enhance project outcomes.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and on-site teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field; Masterâs degree or professional certification (e.g., P.E., PMP) is a plus.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in project engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing large-scale infrastructure or bridge construction projects.
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget, with a portfolio of successful completions.
- Strong technical expertise in bridge design, construction methods, and materials science, including familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD, and other engineering software.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in multicultural environments.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian construction regulations, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal); knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.
- Willingness to relocate to Badung, Bali and travel to project sites as required.
